Tilak Pradhan Memorial Sr. Sec. School is situated at Upper Rateypani in south district of Sikkim. School at Rateypani was first started by Rai Saheb Hari Prasad Pradhan in 1924 with his own fund. But was closed after two years. It was reopened in 1951 by his son Lt. Tilak Pradhan in his own Bunglow. He donated land to build infrastructure to start Primary school. It was recognized by the government of Sikkim in 1953. Now the entire school is being run in the land donated by him and is renamed in his name.
